European Utility Week 2017
As a supporting association of European Utility Week, the ESMIG team and most of the ESMIG member will be in Barcelona on the 15th , 16th and 17th of November.
The ESMIG Area will gather most of the European smart energy solution providers, so visitors can see at once the developments in smart metering, consumer energy management and safe and secure data transfer.
The ESMIG Pavilion will be central to this area and will host again a demonstration on interoperability for demand side flexibility. To stimulate the benefits for consumers across Europe, ESMIG supports the initiatives intended to improve the interoperability of Smart Meters and Consumer Energy Management solutions. This is why we have developed an open architecture for Demand Side Flexibility that is now used by the major standardisation organisations to develop their interoperability standards. We will show this in practice at the Pavilion.
We will also host a summit session on Wednesday from 09:00: "Services as the new business models", where we will launch a new study done in partnership with Vassaett on the "Business case for residential demand side flexibility".
The ESMIG President, Maher Chebbo, will address the theme of "The future generation of energy consumers" on Tuesday at 14:00, in the session "Connecting with the consumers".
See which ESMIG members will be there and more details about the demonstration and the summit session in the flyer attached.
