Join us for the European Utility Week in Amsterdam!

About European Utility Week

European Utility Week is the premier landmark event in Europe for the entire smart utility sector, accumulating over 12,000 international smart energy stakeholders and 600 exhibitors.

It is a dynamic and energizing 3-day business, innovation and information platform in the form of a conference-led exhibition. The event facilitates greater networking and content sharing opportunities across the entire energy spectrum from generation to end use. The programme is developed to serve every level of the utility value chain in the form of a strategic and policy forming environment during the exclusive Summit and the more practical case studies presented during the Hub Sessions, free to attend for all visitors.

3-5 October 2017, RAI Amsterdam, will see the event co-locating with four new events including:  EMART Energy, the leading energy trading event, Energy Revolution Europe, exploring the most recent developments in renewables integration and energy storage, Intelligent Buildings Europe, emphasizing the importance of buildings in our everyday life and the key role they have in our smart cities future, and the highly revered innovation programme Initiate!

ESMIG at European Utility Week

ESMIG is a partner association of the European Utility Week. We are hosting an ESMIG Area where most of our members are present and you can meet us at the ESMIG Pavilion (Hall 1).

We are organising an interoperability demonstration for demand-side flexibility: "One Europe, One Language". Together with some of our members and partners (EEBUS, Energy@Home, European Commission), we are working on closing the gaps in standardisation to create a seamless integration across industries. We will have an official presentation of this project and demonstration on Tuesday, 3 October, from 17:45 - 19:00. Book your agendas and meet us over a drink to see how far we are and how you can benefit from this for your future projects.

We are also involved in the event programme, with two sessions on Tuesday afternoon (14:00 - 17:30):

  • Summit Session: Building the Customer Partnership, chaired by ESMIG President, Maher Chebbo. Creating value for customers through energy efficiency, data and feedback. Creating individual relationships and a positive customer experience. What are cross-industry lessons and what role does the startup ecosystem play? We will look at facilitating versus disruptive startups. See more
  • Hub Session: Free Flow of Energy Data - Enabling demand-side flexibility, with a presentation by Willem Strabbing, ESMIG Managing Director. See more.

Are you coming?

We are offering complimentary tickets for the exhibition (includes the hub sessions and to the co-located events), and reduced tickets for the summit. Book here!
