Smart Women in Smart Energy

Celebrated on the 8 March each year, International Women’s Day is a special opportunity to shine the spotlight on women working in our industry, highlighting their unique experiences and expertise, and what led them on this career path.

Representing European companies providing products, information technology and services for multi-commodity metering, display and management of energy consumption and production at consumer premises, ESMIG members help in making energy cleaner, more affordable and more reliable.

In our mission to serve as a spokesperson for products and services that provide the crucial ingredients in smart consumer energy management, we see that our industry is growing and forever evolving.

This presents more opportunities for women, from those looking to develop their careers further and to those who are just starting out, to take advantage of and take an active role in.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, and to showcase the opportunities in our sector, we are delighted to share with you the stories of Cami Dodge Lamm, Head of European Public Affairs and Regulation at cyberGRID and ESMIG’s Chair of the Empower Prosumers Working Group and Mojca Markizeti, Head of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs at Iskraemeco d.d and ESMIG’s Working Group Chair of the Regulation and Policy Working Group, highlighting their key role and motivation in shaping our industry.
